Instead of approaching the subject with corporate futurism, the piece turns the fear into a lowbrow gag.

A Terminator style machine in an ill-fitting office suit, welcomed by a gleeful boss while human employees are quietly pushed out the back door with their belongings.

The illustration uses pop culture parody, workplace satire, and exaggerated character design to make a current anxiety feel blunt, stupid, and believable.
